Definition of diseases treated with combined protocol C+HK

Lung cancer

It is a silent disease that affects the lungs, it is asymptomatic and when it is detected it has already spread, if you go to the doctor at the slightest sign of symptoms the treatment is usually effective.

Lung cancer is an abnormal growth of cells lining bronchi, bronchioles, or alveoli.

symptoms:

  • discomfort
  • Headaches
  • weariness
  • Loss of appetite
  • Wheezing in the chest
  • Shortness of breath
  • Pneumonias that do not cure
  • Cough with bloody phlegm
  • Chest pain when breathing
  • Dizziness, loss of balance
  • Chest pain when coughing or laughing
  • Sudden pain in hips or back
  • Swelling of lymph nodes near the collarbone

There are two types of lung cancer:

  • Non-small cell lung cancer
  1. Adenocarcinoma: It occurs more in smokers, although people who do not smoke also suffer from it, it is more common in women and can occur in young people.
  2. Squamous cell carcinoma are the cells that cover the inside of the airways.
  3. Large cell carcinoma appear in any area of the lung and grow rapidly.
  • Small cell lung cancer
  1. Oat cell cancer grows and spreads fast and although it responds well to chemotherapy and radiation therapy, most patients suffer from it again.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease COPD

It is a condition of the lungs that causes difficulty breathing either, the main cause is smoking or in non-smokers who lack the protein (alpha1- antitrypsin).

There are other vectors that trigger COPD such as breathing certain gases continuously, smoke pollution or being exposed to kitchen fire without ventilation.

There are two types of COPD

  • Chronic bronchitis with cough and mucus.
  • Emphysema, the lungs become damaged.

symptoms:

  • cough
  • dyspnea
  • weariness
  • Whistle when breathing
  • Difficulty breathing well
  • Repeated infections in the respiratory tract

Spirometry is used to detect COPD because the symptoms are often confused with other conditions and the disease may go unnoticed.

Currently there is no specific treatment for the ailment although it is to improve symptoms such as anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, antitussives, nebulizers.

Pneumonia - pneumonia

It is an infection by bacteria, viruses and fungi that cause everything from a mild ailment to a fatal disease in babies, children and people over the age of 65 or people with an autoimmune system weakened by other conditions or smokers.

  • discomfort
  • weariness
  • chills
  • Cough with phlegm
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fever or drop in temperature
  • Pain when coughing or breathing in the lung area

Pneumonia is treated with painkillers, antibiotics, hydration, rest and depending on the severity may need assisted breathing and oxygen therapy.

Tuberculosis

Contagious lung disease, by bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and that can spread and affect other organs.

Syntoms:

  • fatigue
  • fever
  • Loss of appetite
  • Cough with or without phlegm
  • Whistles when breathing

Treatment is usually with antibiotics and medicines to treat the disease.

Failure to treat correctly can make bacteria resistant to treatment..
